Practising artist, throughout school and early further education and periodically afterwards, focussing on portraiture and realism as well as sculpture – repeated successes in national Texaco Art competitions, engaging commissions with clients, developing my practice, and achieving a FETAC/QQI-5 Distinction Certificate in Art at Gorey School of Art. Commissioned works include a portrait for the Marketing Manager of Texaco Ireland; a portrait of the Texaco Chevron of their CEO; a painting for Gorey Town Commissioners for the Gorey Echo newspaper’s centenary; a Per Cent for Art Scheme funded portrait for Tara Hill National School of their Principal Tadhg Kelly; and others.
